We found spring! And this was back in February. It still hasn't reached us yet. Tonight we expect a 4-8 in. snowstorm.
We had a great time visiting the state parks with azaleas in bloom, eating out a lot, savoring Mom's corn meal biscuits and strawberry shortcake when at home.
One visit was to Blue Springs State Park where we watched the wild manitees and alligators. And then, the obligatory trip to the ocean beach, where it was much too cool. But Jeff did some sunning, just because. And we had fun watching the birds and looking for shells.
It was a great visit with Mom. Just always too short.
