I was very fortunate to spend a few days with my sister Pat here. I think she really enjoyed the 4-wheeling tour.

Tool Shed Restoration

Mike and Nick agreed that if I restore the tool shed, save it from falling the rest of the way down, I could use it. Here are before and after pictures of phase one.

Fall Foliage 2014 (1)

Taking fall foliage pictures seems to get redundant from year to year, week to week. There are just so many views, angles, frames on the property. Regardless, Mother Nature seems to offer a thrill every year and you just have to wait to see what wonders of colors and lighting she offers. These were taken on September 24 and 25th. Hard to imagine that it gets even better.

Framed

Andrew enjoys visiting Biscuit Hollow and plinking a few squirrels when in season.  To commemorate his time here, I presented him with these frames this week.

The purposefully rustic frames were made from hemlock harvested here on the farm last summer and stained to appear aged.

The squirrels' tails were also harvested here, by Andrew of course.
