The second ice storm hit Friday and Saturday and turned out to be much more than some glistening jewels on a tree branch. Power started going out around the County. I didn't realize how bad it was until church this morning and there were many folks missing. I called the house in BH and discovered we didn't have power down there. After confirming with Doris that power had been out since sometime in the middle of the night, I decided we better go down.
This is what things looked like. With temps predicted into the teens again tonight, it was good that we went down. I fixed a fire, cut some firewood, and planned to stay until the power was back on. 
Fortunately, the power came back on about 7:30 PM and I could get back home. I really need to go to work in the morning and see what I can do to help all the farmers that still don't have power. But I'm hoping that if the house in BH is on the end of the line and it now has power, maybe a lot of the rest of the county is back on now too.
But, it sure was pretty.
