It's a funny story. I received an offer from moveon.org for a free Vote for Obama button. Being a McCain supporter, I certainly didn't want to wear one, but I didn't want someone else to be wearing it either. So in a moment of whimsy, I figured I would request it, probably at the expense of having to hit the delete button on an endless run of support requesting emails. And I would have a piece of political americana. Well, the tiny button arrived only a few days before the election, so I don't think my political pilfery made much of an impact. But they did pay for the production of this video, sent automatically, which they apparently did for everyone that subscribed to their emails, as a "get out the vote" message. I thought it was impressive, especially when I could put some spin on it and use it for my own political advantage. But alas, to no avail.
