View From Above

Windows Live Local recently updated their "birdseye" views with 2006 fall photos. This was taken after the pond was built, before it was full, and I was still building the dock. Go to this link to see more detail and zoom around.
While you're there, be sure to check out your own house or point of interest. It's a lot of fun, especially in "bird's eye" view. You can spin around, looking from different angles, and can often zoom up pretty close.

This is very interesting. I traveled to Austinburg...went down to Knoxville, on to Tioga and Mansfield. Checked out the old farm on Pickle Hill Road. I hadn't been there for twenty years. The "birds-eye" view didn't seem to work in PA. Cool.

That was cool. I took a little trip to headed toward Austinburg, stopped to look over the lands that used to be Grandpa Sawyers and then cut right over the hill toward Cook Hollow Checked out the flat piece of land on top of the hill, looks like another dug road and another pond have built since I was there last. Checked out the wood lot behind the pond Dad built and remembered building "forts" and playing in the creek. Especially in the fall when there were lots of leaves and needles to sweep paths and make houses. I can see a new building just a short distance from where the house burned. I guess I'm due for a ride in the country to check it out. Thanks Phil that was fun. Bev.
