Asian Lady Beetle Swarm

This is a good depiction of the swarming action of the Asian Lady Beetle. A day or two after the first fall freeze, they will swarm to the sunny southern exposures of buildings, especially light colored or contrasting colored building areas. Then they will crawl into crevices where they will overwinter, sometimes emerging on the inside of the structure in the spring where they can be quite a nuisance.
